Rabbit Stew with Peas

1 rabbit cut in pieces
2 onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1 bay leaf
2 tsp paprika
1 can (390g) stewed tomatoes, chopped
1 cup white wine
1 cup water
¼ cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
300g peas

I place all ingredients in a pot, except the peas, and place on the stove. When it begins to boil I lower the heat and let it cook slowly for about 1 hour or until tender. I then add the peas and let it cook a further 20 minutes until peas are soft. I like to serve this stew with cooked or mashed potatoes.
